Lisa(Schultz) Schild

Lisa (Schultz) Schild , 46, of Stewartville,MN passed away peacefully on Friday (August 28, 2026 , after a 10 year,  hard-fought battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma and related complications at Mayo Clinic Rochester – Methodist Campus.

Lisa Marie Schultz was born on January 18, 1980 to Doug and Laura (Aldrich) Schultz in Wells, MN. She attended St. Casimir School and graduated from United South Central HS in 1998. She went on to attend Winona State University (WSU) in Winona, MN to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. While at WSU she met and married Noloan Luther Schild on June 26, 2004 at St. Casimir Church, in Wells, MN.

Lisa and Noloan moved to Stewartville, MN soon after graduating from college in 2003. Lisa worked as a Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic from 2003 to 2026. She worked in several different areas including out-patient surgery, blood donor center, and asthma and allergy clinic.  Noloan was an employee at Mayo Clinic Rochester for a number of years and is currently employed as the parking systems manager with the City of Rochester. Lisa was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church in Stewartville,MN.

Lisa was a very loving, caring and generous person who shared her zest for life with everyone she met.  She loved to host parties for family and friends and being around others made her happy. Lisa enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She also enjoyed golfing and games of any kind as Lisa was very competitive. She loved anything active and outdoors such as swimming, golfing, hiking and competed in many half marathons and 5k races. Lisa loved her husband and children deeply and always ensured they were creating fun family memories together. She also had a special bond with the family dog Maya.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 22 years – Noloan, son Riley Schild and daughter Morgan Schild both of Stewartville. She is also survived by her parents Doug and Laura (Aldrich) Schultz of Wells,MN; mother-in - law – Susan Schild of Chatfield ; brother Timothy Schultz and nephew and niece - Cru and Brek all of Owatonna,MN;  brother Danny (Amanda) Schultz and  niece and nephew - Willa and Harvey all of Lake Crystal,MN; sister-in-law Sylvia(Mike) Steien of Chatfield; nephews - Joey Steien of Chatfield and Nick Steien of Fountain,MN . She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and father -in-law  - Mike Schild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday (September 12, 2026) at St. Bernards Catholic in Stewartville with Rev. Kevin Connolly officiating. Burial and a committal service will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery in Wells, MN at 2:00 PM.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7:00 PM on Friday (September 11, 2026) at St. Bernards Catholic Church and from 9:30 AM  to the time of service at the church on Saturday morning.  Arrangements are with Griffin-Gray F.H. in Stewartville.
