January 5, 2021 1:59 PMI am so very sorry for your loss. I never had Mr. Erickson as a teacher, but I did have him for a neighbor. He was so very kind to welcome my children and I to the neighborhood and share numerous fresh vegetables from his garden.
He will be remembered fondly.

January 4, 2021 12:49 PMI worked with Dave in many capacities over the years. First as a student in his class, as a wrestle on the STewartville team, as a fellow staff person at STewartville and finally, he worked with me as an assistant on the STewartville wrestling team. He was always a great guy who never saw get mad at anyone over the 40-45 years I new him. The last time I saw him he was suffering from a stroke at the hall of fame banquet where he was given a long awaited coaching induction. Even though he was somewhat stricken, you could see that old twinkle in his eye. I feel for the family and friends who knew him, god got a great one.

January 2, 2021 12:46 PMMy condolences to Mr. Erickson's family. Mr. Erickson remembered who all of his students were & something about them. He was very caring. After I graduated from high school & was working through college. I would run into Mr. Erickson & it never failed, he did remember me, knew what college I was attending, etc. I felt very important. Thank you Mr. Erickson. You will never be forgotten.
