Anthony "Tony" Ryan

Anthony "Tony" Ryan, 43, of Rochester,MN  passed away on Monday (June 15, 2026) from injuries in a fatal traffic accident in Rochester.

Anthony Richard Ryan was born January 21, 1983 in Minneapolis,MN to Patrick and Mary(Rueger) Ryan. Tony grew up on the family farm in rural Prior Lake,MN  and helped with cattle chores growing up and showed cattle at the Dakota County and Minnesota State Fairs. He was a graduate of Lakeville High School North, Class of 2001. He  moved to Rochester MN and loved working in construction and landscaping. Tony was gifted with a big and loving heart for all.  He was an avid church goer and belonged to the Assembly of God Church In Rochester MN, sang in the choir and went to Bible studies and classes.  A big thank you to the Teen/Adult Challenge of Rochester MN for their huge part in Tony’s Life and in his success in moving forward and bringing him back to his faith. Tony liked riding his Harley Cruiser with the wind in his face. God bless you Tony.

Tony is survived by his Mother, Mary (Jeff), LeBaron his Father Patrick (Syndey) Ryan and stepson Mark Flinn and his beloved sister Angela Ryan (Steve Giles) along with his niece Avery Bundy and nephew Hunter Bundy. Also aunt and uncles: Becky (Kim) Sorenson, Nick (Wendy) Rueger, Amy (Ken) Eddy, Adam (Denise) Rueger, Michelle Ryan, Larry Jansen. Along with cousins: Amanda (Stephen) Hansen. Nicole Schiller, Rachel Wallace, Karl (Shanna Lucking) Rueger, Taylor (Jake) Pasch, Riley Eddy, Beau (Karen) Rueger, Deven (Nicole) Rueger, Max (Emma) Rueger, Christina (Teddy) Zdanczyk, Shaina (Brian) Dimond, Chad Jansen, David (Raine) Jansen, Mark (Tiffany) Jansen, Sara (Luis) Barba, Allison (Joe) Baldwin and Joseph Ryan, Madison, Da’mani  Kozitza and Serenity Ryan. Preceded into death by his maternal grandparents Richard and Thelma Rueger, his paternal grandparents Marcus and Margaret Ryan, his Uncles Mike Ryan, and Mark Ryan, Aunt Kathleen Jansen, his cousins Christopher Sorenson, and Ricky Rueger.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday (June 27, 2026) at Mary Mother of the Church Catholic Church in Burnsville,Mn /3333 17th  Clif Rd E.  A luncheon will follow services at the church.
